Comcast's xFi tools aim to make it easier for Xfinity customers to monitor their network.

Launch the app and sign in to your Xfinity account with your Xfinity ID and password. Tap Wi-Fi. Tap the View Wi-Fi equipment option. Select Advanced settings. Tap Xfinity WiFi Hotspot Network.

Starting this year, Xfinity internet subscribers can lease a Wi-Fi 6 gateway direct from Comcast -- and they won't have to pay a premium for it.
