Here we go again - another color controversy is sweeping the internet. Instead of the dress, it's a pair of flip flops this time.
Much like #TheDress that had the internet taking sides in a debate of its color, these flip flops have people divided. What colors do you see?
The flip-flop controversy is very similar to "The Dress" debate of 2015, which sparked a scientific discussion on human color perception.
According to The Huffington Post, a spokesperson for the footwear brand behind the aforementioned flip-flops said they are actually blue and dark blue. Which is totally wrong.
Blue and black? White and gold? A pair of flip-flop sandals sends Twitter into a color-debating overdrive reminiscent of the infamous #TheDress argument.
While there is a right answer to what color the flip flops are, it doesn’t mean you’re wrong if you see a different color combination.
