New Zealand based Pingar has released a new API allowing software developers to take advantage of the company's analysis and search software for unstructured data stored in SharePoint.

SharePoint has been around for a long time, so I assumed that there must be a Java API or possibly some exposed web services that I could consume.

Microsoft has reissued Service Pack 1 for SharePoint 2013, which the company withdrew earlier this month after reported problems with the update.
