Microsoft is unifying its various authenticator apps into a single Microsoft Authenticator one that will begin rolling out to consumers and business users as of August 15.

To enable the feature you can download the Microsoft Authenticator app on iOS or Android and select your account from the dropdown button and choose enable phone sign-in.

Once established, Microsoft Authenticator apps will get automatically upgraded. In the case of Android users, though, users will get a message suggesting that they download the new application.

According to a support page, the Microsoft Authenticator app will work on the Apple Watch until January 2023.
