Early Wednesday morning in Europe, Toyota unveiled four new or significantly updated electric vehicles — and Lexus managed to sneak one in, too. Even more enticing than the new product, though, was the teaser that came along with it: a shadowy image that previewed an upcoming electric pickup truck and electric Land Cruiser-esque EV while suggesting both would be revealed by the end of 2026.

Toyota’s C-HR compact SUV is going electric. The swoopy battery-powered SUV was revealed in Europe, and initially looks to be for the continent only. Dubbed the C-HR+, Toyota said it would be launched in selected European countries this year before a wider rollout across the union next year.

Toyota just gave the bZ4X electric SUV a significant update for the 2026 model year—introducing new battery options, increased power, and a boost in towing capacity.The refresh should make the bZ4X a more competitive choice as Toyota continues to refine its first dedicated electric SUV.

The most significant changes come on the battery front. New to the bZ4X range is an entry-level 57.7 kWh battery pack. This lithium-ion pack is the same one available in the new C-HR+ and available exclusively in the base front-wheel drive model. This version has a 165 hp (123 kW) electric motor and promises a WLTP range of 276 miles (445 km).

Toyota announced updates to its European EV offerings, including an electric version of the Toyota C-HR called the C-HR Plus, and a refreshed bZ4X that addresses many of the electric crossover’s shortcomings.
