England came back from a 2-0 deficit to take Sweden to penalties and seal their place in the Euro 2025 semifinals, but they did it by virtue of one of the strangest, and longest, penalty shootouts ever.

Sarina Wiegman’s team staged a late comeback to draw 2-2 with Sweden in normal time and could not be separated after the extra half hour too.

In order to win this game, France will need to rely on their star players Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Delphine Cascarino.
