Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is ready to make “some compromise” on his demand that a ceasefire takes place before any talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin – as long as some security guarantees for Ukraine are established.

President Volodymyr Zelensky emerged upbeat, but repeated that Ukraine will not cede land to Russia. There were few tangible signs of progress toward a peace deal.

President Donald Trump announced that he was arranging a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, followed by a trilateral meeting.
