The man allegedly made phone and written threats to the New York mayoral candidate, warning the democratic socialist should “go back to Uganda” before someone shoots him in the head.

A Texas man has been charged with making death threats against New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, prosecutors announced Thursday.

Mamdani is also the only candidate to be viewed favorably by a majority of New Yorkers, according to the Marist poll.
