Luis Guevara, a 19-year-old minor league player for the Baltimore Orioles, has died as a result of the injuries suffered during a “vessel incident,” according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission (FWC).

The Baltimore Orioles are mourning the loss of Luis Guevara, an infielder in their minor league system who died from injuries suffered in a jet ski accident over the weekend. He was 19. The team made the grim announcement of his death Tuesday night with a post to social media.
