Visual Studio 2019 goes live with C++, Python shared editing Microsoft's venerable IDE receives its biannual update.

Visual Studio Live Share, which is now installed by default in Visual Studio 2019, helps developers collaborate in real time, including desktop app sharing, source control diffs, and code commenting.

As Microsoft officials noted previously, VS 2019 now includes as an integrated part of the product Microsoft's Visual Studio Live Share, which is a collaborative programming service.

This week, Visual Studio 2019 and Visual Studio Code have both showed up and can now be discovered directly in the Microsoft Store app.

Microsoft also will integrate the Visual Studio Live Share collaboration feature into both Visual Studio 2019 and Visual Studio Code, the open-source version of the commercial product.
