Tableau's latest version, 2020.2, includes a new data model to easily analyze disparate data sources and connect relationships.

The aim is to help enterprises adopt a cloud-based analytics strategy by migrating data and analytics workloads to AWS.

Arriving in August of last year, Tableau 10 introduced cluster analysis, custom territories, cross-data-source filters, and interactive highlighting in analytics.

Tableau has significantly expanded its custom mapping capabilities in version 10.2, allowing for importing your own geospatial files in GeoJSON, shapefile, KML and MapInfo formats.
