Android's Photo Picker is adding a search bar that helps you find specific images in your gallery, and it could also soon get a date scrubber.

Recently, Android Authority spotted a flag in the Android 14 QPR1 beta that seems to indicate Google could soon implement a new "floating search bar" in various places in its launcher.

Google is testing a reposition of the search bar to the bottom within the Google App. This would make it significantly easier to click.
