Emil Wakim is leaving "Saturday Night Live" after one season, he revealed in an Aug. 27 Instagram post. The comedian made clear in an emotional and slightly irreverent announcement that it was not his decision.

The Oct. 11 show will be hosted by SNL alum Amy Poehler with musical guest Role Model (real name Tucker Pillsbury). Viewers will get a double dose of Sabrina Carpenter on the Oct. 18 episode, as the "Manchild" singer is pulling double duty as both host and musical guest.

The cast of 'Saturday Night Live' Season 51 includes both fresh and familiar faces, while some 'SNL' veterans have departed from the show.

SNL Season 51 kicks off Oct. 4 with Bad Bunny, followed by Amy Poehler on Oct. 11 and Sabrina Carpenter on Oct. 18.

The lineup includes a host and musical guest pulling double duty and the return of a beloved former cast member.
