Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the Emmys red carpet on Sunday (September 14), the executive producer was asked about the SNL exits and new additions, saying, “The show has always brought people in from different ages and different generations and it’s how it revives itself.”

Ego Nwodim is not the only one who said her goodbyes to the show. She's actually the fifth cast member to have an exit before the October season could be released. The lineup of previous cast members includes names like Heidi Gardner, Devon Walker, Michael Longfellow, and Emil Wakim.
