Two extremely rare letters written by a passenger on Titanic rescue ship RMS Carpathia are up for auction in the U.K. this weekend.

The RMS Carpathia came to the rescue of stranded Titanic passengers after the shipwreck and sinking, saving over 700 survivors from the icy water.

A HUNDRED years ago today the Carpathia, a ship made famous for rescuing passengers from the Titanic, was bound from Liverpool, head to Boston USA.
