‘Venom’ and the Return of the Superhero B-Movie 'Let There Be Carnage' is tonally unconventional and, at times, starving for brains, but there’s enough to it to leave you hungry for more.

For several of the years that Venom was in development at Sony, Carnage was openly referred to as the villain of the movie; at one point, the film's working title was Venom: Carnage.
