An RTD is a temperature sensor that operates on the measurement principle that a material’s electrical resistance changes with temperature.
The circuit uses the popular Pt100 RTD, which has a resistance of 100 Ω at 0°C. Its temperature coefficient of 0.00385 Ω/Ω/ºC produces a 38.5-Ω increase in resistance from 0°C to 100°C.
Marlboro, Mass. Data Translation has released the DT9872, a RTD version of the TEMPpoint temperature measurement instrument product line, in a compact, rugged 2U rack-mountable enclosure. The PC-based ...
Temperature transmitters are employed to transmit a signal from a temperature sensor, such as a RTD or thermocouple, to a control or measurement device.
Acromag’s newest addition to the Busworks® NT Series of expandable remote Ethernet I/O modules is the NT2620 Series RTD/resistance module. Designed to be a cost-effective modular solution, it supports ...
Measurement Specialties Inc.have released a sensor for the accurate measurement of temperature which uses Nickel RTD sensing technology and withstands harsh environmental influences such as dust and ...
Sometimes, it's necessary to make microvolt measurements in the presence of volts. For example, the need arose to measure the thermoelectric potentials in an RTD circuit in which ...
