Adobe has announced that it's working on a feature for Photoshop called Live Co-Editing, which lets multiple people view and edit the same document at once. The concept will be familiar to anyone who's worked in a Google Doc with other people, though applied to photo or graphical editing instead of word processing.

The live co-editing feature has been years in the works and highly requested by Photoshop users, Adobe confirmed to CNET.

Adobe says the feature was inspired by community input, and it seems like an excellent option for visual arts education as well as professional image-making. Adobe already includes a few collaboration features in Photoshop, such as Shared Libraries and Share for Review, which allows stakeholders to comment on an image.
