The PGA of America announced today that Streamsong Golf Resort in Bowling Green, Florida, will host the 2027 PGA Professional Championship. The four-day, 72-hole Championship will be contested on Streamsong Red and Streamsong Blue, April 25-28, 2027.

Bethpage Black will be the epicenter of professional golf next week when it hosts the 45th Ryder Cup, the continuation of a rich history of competition at the public layout.

Criticism of the PGA of America is sure to follow should Europe secure their first away win since 2012 when they head to the Ryder Cup next week. Bethpage Black has a chance to take what many already consider the best event in golf and raise it another level.

The KPMG Women's PGA will be played on the Black Course at Bethpage Black in 2028, while the PGA Championship will go to Bethpage Black for the second time in 2033.

Michael Block has grabbed the Southern California PGA Section Championship in Palm Desert, finishing 16-under-par, four strokes ahead of the field.

The PGA Tour announced on Tuesday that one of its premier events will not be held at its usual venue in 2026 due to inclement drought conditions.

The Austin event would be one of two changes to date to the 2026 fall schedule. The Mexico Open, which had been a full-field PGA Tour event through 2025, also is moving to the fall stretch with the addition of the new Signature tournament, the Miami Championship. The tour is expected to announce its full 2026 fall slate later this year.

With the win, Block receives an exemption into the PGA Tour’s American Express tournament in La Quinta in January, a tournament he has played five times. By clinching section player of the year honors for the second straight year. Geddes earns a berth in the PGA Tour’s Farmers insurance Open in San Diego the week after the American Express.
