This is because the Minecraft Java Edition and the Minecraft Bedrock Edition – the two versions available on the PC platform – are now being offered in a two-for-one bundle.

Minecraft: Java Edition has a free trial that players can try before making a purchase. The trial version allows players to figure out whether they will enjoy the game or not.

If you missed your chance the first time around, Mojang has allowed more players to redeem their free copy of Minecraft on Windows 10 if they already own the Java Edition.

To be more specific, the two versions are Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, and they'll both be available via Xbox's Game Pass for PC service from November 2, 2021.
