Microsoft has added a small new button next to the open New tab button in Internet Explorer that lets you quickly open the Microsoft Edge browser. If it gets in your way you can easily remove it.

Microsoft is testing out new options within the vertical tabs button on its Edge browser. The button now shows an option to view recently closed items and to add all tabs to a collection.

Microsoft Edge Dev just received an update that adds several features, including a new "add to favorites" feature and a new icon for adding a new tab group through the quick actions menu.
