Microsoft is making it possible for Windows users to access iMessage through its Phone Link app, a preview of which has been released for Windows Insiders.

There's no shortage of apps and services that want to be the iMessage of Android devices, but one of the more promising entries in the market is AirText.

It’s a two-part solution where one part is a server app that runs on your Mac computer, and the second part is the Android app that brings iMessage to your Android smartphone.

Make sure to use the same email connected to your official iMessage account, but pick a new password for security. With that out of the way, you can install weMessage on your Android device.

A 16-year-old developer has created a workaround system that enables Android users to use iMessage. However, you'll need a Mac to make it work.
