In November 2022, Coinbase began migrating customer accounts from Coinbase Pro to Coinbase Advanced Trade. Find out what this means for new and existing users.
Coinbase further announced that its Pro service, and the institution-focused Prime platform, will no longer support stop orders.
On 17th March, Coinbase made the announcement that they were introducing stop orders to their Coinbase Exchange service, via a post on the Coinbase blog.
Advanced Trade mirrors Pro in fee structure and trade execution, as it interacts directly with the Coinbase exchange order book, the blog post said.
How Did the Switch Impact Trading on Coinbase? Advanced Trade users can trade all 500+ cryptocurrency trading pairs, more than were available on Coinbase Pro, with the same liquidity and order types.
Coinbase Pro is the company’s exchange that lets you set up advanced order types, such as limit orders. Those are fairly standard features for a cryptocurrency exchange.
From there, customers will be able to submit market orders and enjoy full trading services through Coinbase Pro including limit, market and stop orders for ZEC.
