The controller can only swap between one Xbox One or Series X|S console (or a PC using an Xbox Wireless adapter), and one PC, phone, or tablet using Bluetooth.

Microsoft has yet to release a PC driver for its Xbox One controller, so one user has cobbled together his own method.

With Steam updated, the controller connected, and drivers installed, you should now see your Xbox controller listed in Steam’s connected devices.
