Minecraft 1.17 Caves & Cliffs Part I has officially been released for all platforms this morning. Ever since the 1.17 announcement in 2020, the excitement about the update has only been building.
The Minecraft Bedrock Edition supports crossplay on Android, iOS, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and more. Bedrock players also have access to Realms, a multiplayer server run by Minecraft.
Xbox One Things are much more streamlined on Xbox One — though it does actually require you to manually go into ‘My Apps & Games,’ select Minecraft and press the more options button.
Minecraft is finally going fully cross-platform across Xbox One, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch, and other mobile platforms with the Bedrock update.
To be more specific, the two versions are Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, and they'll both be available via Xbox's Game Pass for PC service from November 2, 2021.
