Zoom offers several recording options from the comfort of the app. Meanwhile, if you log in through the Zoom web portal, you'll find several settings to tune the recording process.

In the navigation menu in the Zoom web portal, click Account Management then Account Settings. Go to the Breakout Room option on the Meeting tab and check that the setting is enabled.
