Microsoft also recently released Oxite, an ASP.NET MVC-based CMS, under the MS-PL open source license. Oxite provides developers with a compelling real-world example of how to use the new framework.

ASP.NET MVC joins other Microsoft-spawned open source projects, including the Managed Extensibility Framework, Dynamic Language Runtime, IronRuby, the AJAX Control Toolkit and the Silverlight Toolkit.
