Conservative political activist Charlie Kirk will be remembered at a memorial service this weekend, more than a week after he was assassinated during a campus event at Utah Valley University.

The Duchess of Kent's funeral took place in London today, with many members of the Royal Family in attendance. The late royal passed away at the age of 92 on September 4, 2025. The funeral began at 2pm today and marked the first Catholic funeral held for a member of the Royal Family since the Reformation.

This marks the first time a Catholic funeral service has been held for a member of the Royal family in modern British history.
