LG offers a variety of monitors, but the company has just launched what it calls the world's first 5K2K bendable monitor.

LG’s latest pre-CES 2025 announcement finds the brand unveiling a trio of premium big-screen OLED gaming monitors — including the world’s first 5K2K-resolution model to support LG’s unique ‘bendable’ technology.

LG says the 45-inch monitor can go from completely flat to a 900R curve in seconds. The 900R means that at its biggest curve, the monitor is equal to the outside of a circle with a 90-centimeter radius. Basically, it'll make whatever you're viewing on it much more immersive than the standard flat-screen.

And this year the company is keeping up that tradition with the introduction of the LG UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor (45GX990AB), which LG says it “the world’s first 5K2K-resolution bendable OLED display.” Breaking down those claims one by one, this is a 45 inch monitor with an OLED display featuring a resolution of 5120 x 2160 pixels.

The new lineup includes the 45GX990A and 45GX950A, which are both 45-inch 21:9 gaming monitors with ultra-high 5K2K resolution. According to LG, the ratio offers a more immersive gaming experience with better compatibility and more screen real estate.
