While the definition of fake has its merits, it inevitably leads to the question of what is true or real, suggesting that once that is defined, everything outside of that definition is fake.

What do these things have in common? They're all questionable government spending projects in a time when our economy is struggling and people can't get jobs….or, maybe we just made them up.

The bottom line: According to the NFPA, real Christmas tree fires are more common than artificial tree fires—but that doesn't mean there aren't precautions you should take with fake trees as well.
