The new linear progress bar replaces the circular one outlining the play/pause button, and is seen in all music playback apps compatible with Android Auto.

The current receiver UI for Quick Share On mobile, though, the main interface for both senders and receivers only shows a circular progress bar that fills up as the transfer progresses.

The Play Store’s new download progress notification shows the app or game icon to the left with a circular progress bar around it.
