How Does a Chalazion Look?
A chalazion can often be treated at home. However, you're encouraged to see a healthcare provider, such as an eye specialist, for diagnosis and treatment if it lasts longer than a couple weeks.
A stye is a red, hot, very tender swollen bump near the edge of your eyelid. A chalazion, on the other hand, is a somewhat tender, smooth, round bump normally in the middle of your eyelid.
