Florida scientists got more than they ever imagined when they actually came across a Burmese python eating a full-grown deer.

Burmese pythons wreak havoc across the Florida Everglades. The invasive snakes eat just about anything. Do they eat alligators? What animals eat them?

The scientists studied three adult female Burmese pythons. As one of those snakes was ingesting a 77-pound white-tailed deer, they discovered the deer was 66.9% of the snake’s mass.
