GM has issued a fix for an issue owners of the 2011-2018 Chevy Express and GMC Savana were experiencing with the vans' factory Body Control Module software.

GM has issued a recall for certain examples of the 2015 to 2017 model-year Chevy City Express utility van over an issue related to the engine control module.

Incorrect software in the transmission control module may result in reduced power, unintended deceleration, rear-wheel lockup, or cause the vehicle to move in an unintended direction, the NHTSA said.
