A 3-foot-long ball python escaped from its cage inside a Wisconsin high school – and is believed to be hiding out inside a science lab ventilation system, school officials told The Post.

The man has no problem entering a cage that’s home to his pythons, and two of his giant snakes seem comfortable in his company.

A mushroom forager is credited with saving two ball pythons abandoned in a Durham, North Carolina forest, a reptile rescue group says.

Kai, a male ball python, escaped from his cage in a Fond du Lac High School science lab over the Labor Day weekend.

While the couple distracted an employee, they allegedly grabbed two designer ball pythons from a cage that was unlocked for cleaning. The tiny snakes were worth about $650 to $800 each.

Invasive pythons were prohibited by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in 2021, but boa constrictors were not on that list.

The birth is unusual also because ball pythons usually stop laying eggs long before they reach their 60s.
