Updates to Microsoft's cloud this week include the official launch of On-Premises Azure Data Gateway and APIs that demystify cloud costs for enterprise customers.

The September update of the gateway bumps the service to version version 3000.9.194, and brings an updated version of the Mashup Engine, matching the one released this month for Power BI Desktop.
