Data cloud firm Snowflake has partnered with data science platform Anaconda, which includes an investment in Anaconda from Snowflake Ventures.

Hallmarks of Anaconda's new Enterprise release include deployment of Python-generated assets to executives and analysts, and Python machine learning models to mainstream developers.

Anaconda, a provider of open-source Python software for data science and AI, has raised more than $150 million in a Series C funding round, valuing the startup at about $1.5 billion.

Anaconda provides a handy GUI, a slew of work environments, and tools to simplify the process of using Python for data science.
