Knives Out isn’t a movie that lets viewers passively watch. The crime kicks off the film and we soon learn that Marta accidentally killed Harlan—at least that’s what we all think.

Given the "Knives Out" movies have all been murder-mystery movies, we know precious little about the plot of "Wake Up Dead Man", and that doesn't seem likely to change anytime soon.

With that in mind, it’s likely to be a while before the next Knives Out movie begins casting or enters production. As such, a release date for Knives Out 3 is unlikely to surface anytime soon.
