Adobe has announced that it will release its first UWP app for Windows 10 by the end of 2016. The Adobe XD design app will take full advantage of the touch- and pen-based capabilities of Windows 10.

It’s long been expected, but Adobe Experience Design (Adobe XD) is now available for Windows 10, albeit in public beta form.

Adobe has announced it will launch a Windows 10 UWP (Universal Windows Platform) version of its Adobe XD design app. The first public beta is slated for release by the end of 2016.

With its new Studio app that runs on both Mac and Windows, InVision hopes to take the fight to popular design software like Sketch and Adobe XD.

Adobe XD is no longer available as a standalone app, but you can get it with Creative Cloud.
