If you have a lengthy column of numbers that you need to multiply by a percentage, Excel includes tools to instantly apply the product to the entire range of cells in the column.

In the resulting Paste Special dialog, select Add. Click OK and Excel adds 1 to the selected values in column A, 2 to the selected values in column B, and 3 to the selected values in column C.
