Roblox has raised $150 million in a new round of funding aimed at expanding the international growth of its social platform for user-generated games.

The National Music Publishers' Association has sued the popular gaming platform Roblox for copyright infringement on behalf of several music publishers in a lawsuit seeking $200 million in damages.

Even though many of its peer tech companies were focused on cutting costs in 2023, Roblox generated $1.2 billion of red ink for the year compared to $900 million in losses in the prior year.
