Third grade ELA, eighth grade ELA and seventh grade math fell 1%. Fourth, fifth and sixth grades’ ELA and math scores saw a swell of positive trends in BPS, and tenth grade science scores jumped 3%.

Just like the rest of their public school peers in Massachusetts, without passing 10th-grade-level tests in ELA, math and science, international newcomer students can’t obtain a high school diploma.
