Superman's box office may be a point of contention for some, but it has become a part of a historic box office record for Warner Bros. as a whole.

Superman is available on digital now, but what about HBO Max? If it follows other Warner Bros movies, this is when it will drop.

Following the critical and commercial success of Superman, Warner Bros. CEO David Zaslav has shared an intriguing but vague update regarding the potential story for Superman 2. At the moment, the David Corenswet-led DC Universe movie has already earned a worldwide gross of over $559 million at the box office.

Superman' came video on demand this weekend, a decision James Gunn claims was made above him due to 'Peacemaker'.

“Superman,” which also stars Cleveland native Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, has grossed more than $331 million at the domestic box office — the most in franchise history. Gunn is already at work on “the next installments of the DC Super-Family,” Warner Bros. Discovery President and CEO David Zaslav said during an earnings call last week.

As of now, Superman has officially smashed its way past The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey to become one of Warner Bros.' highest-grossing releases in recent memory. It is now the studio's fifteenth most successful film in North America by the studio, a spot that was previously held by The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
