Preseason NFL football is finally underway, but no other teams rolled out their debuts in such grandiose fashion as the St. Louis Rams and the Dallas Cowboys at SoFi Stadium.

The star quarterback made headlines following the team’s preseason opener against the Rams by boldly predicting a matchup between the two teams in the NFC Championship game this season. Despite hardly being a team reasonable pundits are picking to make the postseason, Prescott unabashedly believes Dallas is destined for greatness in 2025.

The Rams and Cowboys won't play each other in the regular season, making this their lone matchup of 2025 unless they meet in the playoffs. Both teams are resting their top players, including Matthew Stafford, Davante Adams, Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, so it'll mostly be backups running the show.
