One person was hit by a New Orleans Police Department unit on Mardi Gras Day under the Claiborne Avenue underpass. WWL's Reporter Paul Murphy was on the scene. The NOPD unit hit the pedestrian near North Claiborne and Kerlerec Street, Murphy reported.
