The victim reportedly told police that two men ran up to him, shot him several times, pulled him out of his vehicle, and stole his car. He later died at the hospital.

Two men are on the run after police said a rideshare driver was found shot to death. Before that, investigators said he was robbed and shot several times before his killers took off with his car.

The man then told the person in his car to get out, who replied, “If you’re gonna do it, do it,” before making a lunging motion. Police said the car owner then fired his weapon, hitting the man rummaging in his car, who died at the scene.
