Residents were shocked by Gov. Greg Abbott's social media post saying Colony Ridge would be "targeted" by state troopers and immigration officials.

Conservative state officials have previously accused the residential community north of Houston of being a safe haven for people in the country without legal status. It was not immediately clear Tuesday whether the reported number of arrests were made this week or as part of ongoing enforcement initiatives.
