George Lucas attended Comic-Con for the first time ever on Sunday, July 27. The famed filmmaker headlined a panel alongside Guillermo del Toro and 'Star Wars' designer Doug Chiang, plus moderator Queen Latifah.

In front of a roaring audience of 6,500, the panel, titled "Sneak Peek of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, also included Academy Award–winning director Guillermo del Toro, who also serves on the museum's board,

George Lucas has made his first appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego. The 81-year-old got a big ovation from thousands of fans when he took the stage.
