General Motors Co. in Detroit and California’s NVIDIA today announced they are collaborating on next-generation vehicles, factories, and robots using artificial intelligence, simulation, and accelerated computing.

GM and Nvidia have expanded their collaboration to integrate AI across GM’s next-gen vehicles, driver-assistance systems, & facilities.

General Motors will use artificial intelligence chips and software from Nvidia to develop autonomous vehicle technology for its vehicles and improve workflow at its factories, the companies said on Tuesday.
