Costco is opening nine new warehouse stores this year around the world, with six beginning operations in cities across the United States in the coming weeks.According to an announcement on the company's website,

Currently, Costco operates 897 stores, with 617 located in the United States and Puerto Rico. After the store openings in March, Costco will cross the 900-store mark with 903 warehouses. Costco also has stores in Canada, Mexico, Japan, the United Kingdom, Korea, Australia, Taiwan, China, Spain, France, Iceland, New Zealand and Sweden.
